Adobe Systems India Pvt Ltd, a 100 percent sub sidiary of Adobe Systems Inc,
launched the latest version of its flagship product - Adobe Photoshop 7.
Known for its unmatched precision and consistently superior output for print,
Web and other media, Photoshop 7.0 offers a breadth of new tools to achieve
fresh, sophisticated effects and other previously unachievable creative results.
Jordan Reizes, Marketing Manager, South Asia and Pacific, Adobe Systems says,
"The new Photoshop will provide professionals with breakthrough
capabilities to meet today’s challenging business enviornment." He
further adds, "With the launch of Photoshop 7.0, we are bringing our
customers closer to network publishing which will enable them to create content
once and use it in a range of ways."
Some of the new features are the File Browser - an image organization tool
that allows users to browse image thumbnails and quickly rotate, sort, rank, and
batch rename images, as well as view EXIF (Exchangeable Image File) information
from digital cameras.
The new Healing Brush feature simplifies the photo retouching process by
allowing users to effortlessly remove dust, scratches, blemishes, wrinkles, and
other flaws. At the same it preserves the shading, lighting, and texture of an
original image.
Adobe Photoshop 7 will be available in India at an estimated street price of
Rs 31,500. Registered users of earlier versions of Photoshop can upgrade to version
7 for Rs 7,800.
