LTIMindtree has been chosen by Aflac Incorporated, a Fortune 500 enterprise and supplier of supplementary insurance in the United States, as its digital transformation partner, it will use the cloud-native solutions provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

As a component of the collaboration, LTIMindtree will redesign Aflac's existing on-premises applications, which are currently operating on an unsupported platform. Embracing a cloud-first strategy with an AWS solution, the approach will encompass the utilization of reusable UI elements and shared business functions as services.

This will harness the notable capabilities of AWS tools such as Amazon CloudFront, AWS Key Management Service (KMS), AWS Secrets Manager, and serverless components like Lambda. The ultimate aim as a digital transformation partner is to ensure that the solution's architecture adheres to the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework; encompassing security and reliability.

Furthermore, he added, “The comprehensive core modernization expertise, migration tools, and accelerators; core-to-experience proposition of LTIMindtree bundled with the cloud-native architecture of AWS components and services will help Aflac fully harness the digital and cloud ways of working. Meanwhile, allowing the user to efficiently traverse technology and operational diversities seamlessly and deliver positive business outcomes.”

The transition to AWS will safeguard Aflac against security vulnerabilities while yielding favorable outcomes for its users, including the agent community. The applications are meticulously crafted to adhere to WCAG 2.1 guidelines, ensuring accessibility to a broader spectrum of users.

Significantly enhancing availability and uptime, the Disaster Recovery capability has registered an increase of over 50%. This migration to AWS has led to a reduction in the Total Cost of Ownership by exceeding 20%; coupled with an overall decrease of more than 30% in application hosting expenses.
