Allied Digital Services will set up an exclusive portal that will serve as a
knowledge base for its customers. This site is in addition to its corporate

will be a customer service portal, which has security guidelines, problems
frequently faced by customers, and information on various types of solution
deployment," explained Sunil Bhatt, CTO, Allied Digital Services.
Nitin Shah, MD of the company said that the knowledge they have acquired over
the last 21 years has been significant and he wanted customers to benefit from
the same. It has information on security, storage, networking solutions. He said
that the reason behind setting up this site was to reduce the load on the
help-desk of the company. "We expect that after setting this up within the
next two quarters, 85% problems will be solved by customers themselves,"
commented Sunil.

A customer can register himself on the site and in case of a problem he can
take a look at the suggested recommendations. Nitin is also cautious that his
competitors don't avail of this information. Thus, secure access too is
provided on the site. The site has an Indian identity, by getting the .IN domain
and will be integrated with CRM also.
