Allied Telesyn has appointed Delhi-based Advent electronics as its fourth
regional distributor in the country. The other distributors include Leading Edge
in the western region and Cosmos and Netplace in the northern region. Says
Chander Purswani, Country Manager, Allied Telesyn, "We will appoint maximum
of two distributors in each region. Currently we are focussed on western and
northern market."
Allied Telesyn has selected a dual channel network of regional distributors
and SIs to further its reach in the country. It has appointed Omnitech, Kaybee
Electronics, Newtech Networking, Intercomm Systems, Chipcom Systems and
Miltronics as its SI partners. Talks are underway with CMS and Global
Telesystems to sign them on as the company’s SI.
Chander also informs that the company has managed to put in place a warranty
policy of offering off-the-shelf replacement for its products in under seven
days. "Netplace is our national service partner and we are now endeavoring
to bring the turnaround time down to 48 hours."
Chander also informs that the company has touched the sales figure of last
year’s turnover in the past three months itself.
