"We believe that India is one of the most exiting emerging markets with a sizable pool of IT professionals in the world today. We have already appointed two distributors in the Indian region - Delhi based Advent Technologies and Mumbai based Netplace technologies for distributing our products. In addition to this we are engaged in talks with a country-wide distributor for our product range," informed the newly appointed Country Manager at Allied Telesyn Rajesh
Sahore.

Under its channel expansion program, the company has divided Indian territory into three different regions - North & East, West and South and is looking forward to having a considerable channel presence in all these regions. "As ours is a purely channels driven company, ideally we are looking at having more than 150 resellers in each of these regions within India," Sahore added.

As part of its expansion plans, the company would be setting up its offices at all the major metros. "We would be going to places like Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkota. This would be in addition to our existing offices in Mumbai and New Delhi," said Allied Telesyn deputy MD Fung Ming Yang.
