Amconics Infotech Solution is all set to expand its operations across India.
After having successfully established itself in the Indian market, the Hong
Kong-based PC display and components manufacturer is ready to extend its
presence and product range in the country.
In India, Amconics is represented by its venture partner Big Boss Infotech
and has its joint branches at New Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Raipur and Lucknow
apart from its registered office in Kolkata.
In Dehradun the company has tied up with Best Computers as its distributor
for Uttaranchal. "As far as our Indian operation is concerned we have
already launched our products in North, West and East zones. We now want to
expand our reach in all these regions and spread our presence to cover entire
upcountry market," said Sanjeev Soni, Country Manager - India, Amconics
Infotech Solution.
As part of its expansion plans, Amconics is opening its branches along with
Big Boss Infotech in Guwahati and Ludhiana shortly. Till now the company was
present in Ludhiana in the form of a service center, "By September we will
start our sales operation too. That will further reinforce our reach in the
northern market," said Soni.
Apart from that, Amconics who is also the title sponsor for the ongoing The
DQ Week annual awards is also ready to launch itself for the first time in
Chennai coinciding with the said award function to be held on August 14.
"So far we were not present in South since we were not ready with our sales
and service infrastructure. Now we are all set to cover the southern market too.
Our first branch is coming up at Chennai," informed Soni. The company is
also coming up with a service center in Chennai shortly. "Once we have both
our sales and service infrastructure there we are planning to appoint the
channel partners to cater to the said region," he added. Another one at
Hyderabad will soon follow the Chennai branch. Meanwhile the branch at Guwahati
will be operational by September and will cater to the entire Northeast market.
"North-East is a very big and prosperous market for us. Therefore having a
direct branch at Guwahati will enable us to provide the partners with steady
flow of products as well as after sales support," stated Soni. "We are
in the final stage of studying the North-East market and once our branch here is
operational we will be appointing some dealers across the region," he added
further.
Along with the northern Indian market Amconics is also keen to strengthen its
position in eastern region. The company has recently tied up with Bhubaneswar
based Techno Infotech to distribute its product range in Orissa. "We are
also in the process of appointing distributors for Bihar and Jharkhand for which
we are already in touch with few partners based in Patna and Ranchi
respectively," informed Soni.
