AMD CEO to visit India on 28th

AMD has announced that Chairman and CEO Dr. Hector de J. Ruiz will visit
India from November 28th through December 3rd. This is Dr. Ruiz' second visit to
India.

During his trip, Dr. Ruiz will meet with key government officials, business
leaders, academicians, industry associations and policy makers.

Dr. Ruiz' public engagements include the World Economic Forum India Summit.
Organized in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the
India Economic Summit 2007 is set to convene under the theme India: Building
Centers of Excellence. Dr. Ruiz will co-chair the event and discuss the
opportunities and challenges that will shape India's future growth environment.

In addition, Dr. Ruiz will dedicate his time to help further the 50x15
Initiative, a commitment to enable 50 percent of the world's population with
affordable Internet access by the year 2015.
