AMD unveiled the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX-Series processors and reintroduced the Threadripper processor lineup to the high-end desktop segment with the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 Series processors. This move establishes a groundbreaking standard for computing performance and innovation in the industry, showcasing AMD's commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology.

Later this year, the Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX-Series processors will become available to DIY customers, SI partners, and OEM partners such as Dell Technologies, HP, and Lenovo. Tailored for professionals and businesses seeking exceptional performance, reliability, expandability, and security, these processors deliver unmatched multi-core performance characteristics of the “Zen 4” Threadripper 7000 Series processors. Enhanced by AMD PRO technologies, they offer enterprise-level security and management features essential for modern businesses. With up to 96 cores and 192 processing threads, these processors provide extraordinary workstation market performance.

Additionally, AMD is reintroducing the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 Series processors to the High-End Desktop (HEDT) arena, marking their return since 2020. Upholding AMD’s renowned standards for creative and professional users, the Ryzen Threadripper 7980X processor stands as a pinnacle of computing power in enthusiast desktops. With exceptional multi-threaded performance, this processor caters to users who demand nothing short of the best. Built on the AMD “Zen 4” architecture and providing desktop users with up to 48 PCIe 5.0 lanes, these processors boast up to 64 cores and 128 threads, setting an unparalleled benchmark for performance and efficiency.

The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX-Series processors represent a significant advancement in workstation technology, building upon the unmatched performance and advanced platform features of their predecessors. Powered by the cutting-edge 5nm “Zen 4” architecture, this new generation dominates the competition in demanding professional applications and intricate multitasking tasks, like the creation of complex Revit models.

Threadripper PRO processors stand out with up to 96 cores and 192 threads, offering the highest core count among all workstation processors. This exceptional capability proves invaluable for tasks requiring intense computational power, such as simulations, generative design, rendering, and software compilation.
