Amravati IT Association to hold IT Utsav

Amravati: In keeping with their tradition of holding an IT fair, Amravati IT Association will be holding its IT Utsav in the month of January. The fair will be held from Jan 23-26, 2010 at Nehru Maidan.

Sharing information further, Prakash Purohit, President, Amravati IT Association stated, “Every year we hold the fair in the first week of Jan, however since this time the venue has already been engaged in view of President Pratibha Patil's visit to the the city, we have decided to reschedule the fair and hold it in the latter half of the month. We are expecting to witness some eighty to one lakh footfall during the fair. In order to ensure a successful fair, we will set up different committees and distribute the work amongst ourselves.”

The association will hold a meet to discuss other issues related to sponsorship, budgeting, programming, product display and guest lectures to be arranged in view of the fair. Last year the association managed to do a business of over Rs 14 lakh during the fair.
