Antarix introduces Mouse FP

Antrix Tech Zone offers a Mouse FP to protect files on a PC from intruders.
Access is granted only if the mouse identifies the fingerprint. The security
device is targeted at banks, R&D and e-commerce organizations.

The device is a standard PC mouse, with a small, clear fingerprint window on
the left side, where the right-hand thumb rests.

When installed with supplied software, it creates and stores a fingerprint
impression on the workstation/server that can be compared later for
verification. Verification typically takes a second.

Mouse FP works with any Windows 95/98 system that supports parallel port (ECP
or EPP), PS/2 port. It does not need additional power supply and is immune to
electrostatic discharges. The scratch-proof sensor surface assures high
durability and consistent results and the impact-resistant sensor resists severe
external shocks.

The fingerprint data is encrypted and stored making it foolproof secured.
