With an objective to inform the channel partners about the initiatives of the
company, AOC recently organized partner meet in Delhi. The event marked the
completion of two months of their scheme, "Festival Bonanza". The
company has been organizing a number of dealer meets in the North and one of
them was held last year in Manesar. Close to 50-60 partners participated in the
"Festival Bonanza" scheme and 20 of them qualified in the same.

Talking about the meet, Saurabh Grover, DGM -Sales and Marketing stated,
"Generally during the dealer meets, we educate and create awareness among
the partners, but this meet in Delhi was to appreciate the efforts of the
partners and give them an opportunity to participate in the lucky draw."

Throwing light on the company's channel initiatives, he said that the company
invests close to Rs 6 crore annually on exhibitions and advertisements as part
of their marketing strategy. However, at the moment they will purely be aiming
at increasing their channel partners. "The reach at present is not as
expected and hence we will look for expansion under our distributors. In Delhi
we have close to 50-60 partners and we would like take this number to atleast
100."

This aside the company is also looking to explore newer geographies and will
be expanding into Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh by the end of the
first quarter (31st march). In addition to this, the company also showcased some
of its new range of TFT and CRT monitors during the meet. Giving an insight into
the monitor industry, Grover pointed out that last year the demand for CRT
vis-à-vis TFT was 42-58 percent in favour of TFT and in future the market will
definitely swing towards TFT owing to rapid downfall in the prices of the same.
