Released in four Indian languages (Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi and Gujarati) with an independent office suite, Akshar Naveen allows computing in different languages. The product will soon be ramped up to allow computing in 16 Indian languages. Akshar Naveen features-independent office suites, unicode compliance, enhanced dictionary, email facility, number converter, inbuilt PDF writer and phonetic transliteration as well.

With its focus towards regional languages- the company plans to target the entire country. “This is our phase one—once we complete this, we would be ready to target the complete country with a two-pronged strategy of direct sales as well as putting right channel at the right locations,” he added. The company has priced the latest version of the product at Rs 4,500 per six hundred copies.
