Asrock on a brand awareness drive

Officials from Asrock Incorporation, Taiwan met their partners and discussed

strategies with the channel for furthering their business. James Lee, Area Vice

President and Wayne Lin, Account Manager from Asrock Incorporation also met up

with their national distributor, Mumbai-based Abacus Peripherals to decide on

how to improve its brand awareness.

Abacus organized the Asrock dealers meet in Mumbai for its local and Pune

partners. During the event, the channel was given a peek into the company's

origins and their product roadmap and sales strategies were also shared with

them. James elaborated on the Upgrade Series, Combo Series and Dual Series,

which Asrock has come up with to facilitate the user's ease of upgradation and

usability while keeping the cost at the minimum. Dealers who had assembled at

the event brought forth some of the problem they were facing and suggested how

the brand should be positioned keep-ing the market dynamics and trends in mind.

James noted that in emerging economies like India, China and Russia, Asrock

is fast picking up pace as it offers quality with cost-effectiveness as here

owning a computer is still a luxury for the masses. "So we want our

partners to target the value segment, where customers want high quality product

at reasonable prices.
