Asus conducts national seminars in nine cities

AsusTeK Computer organized TeKTrend Seminar 2005, across nine cities in
India. The first seminar in a series of channel partner empowerment meets was
held on March 2, 2005 in Mumbai, followed by Delhi on March 3. The purpose of
the seminar was to update the channel partners on Asus' latest technologies
and introduce the latest range of its products.

Asus India MD, Andrew Tsui briefed about the roadmap and expansion plans of
Asus in the current year. He said, "These seminars will help us to educate
and build well-trained and well-equipped channel partners. We also aim for
business expansion with channel partners."

Live demo of exclusive features like Game face live, Post reporter and AI
Proactive were given to the partners present at the meet. The seminar was
organized in Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad.

The company expects that the seminars would enable to update channel partners
on the company's products, service, technology and providing the right
solution to customers. It also introduced a new product line during the seminar
comprising of notebooks, mobile phones and PDA. The company has laid out
extensive plans to achieve its targets, focused on increasing product lines and
building strong channel partnership.
