Asus introduces P5 motherboard series

AsusTek Computer (Asus) has unveiled the P5 motherboard series that features complete driver support for the next-generation 64-bit computing architecture. The mobos are BIOS updated and Intel Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology
(EIST) ready. With this technology, the P5 motherboards are able to automatically adjust the CPU's core voltage and core frequency according to system performance demand, establishing a self-managed, lower-power consumption and less heat environment. 

The P5 Series supports both 64-bit and 32-bit operations, providing excellent system compatibility and upgrade flexibility. The P5 Series is Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology (Intel EM64T) ready, meaning the 600 series CPU of the P5 motherboard is able to run new 64-bit code and access larger amounts of memory. The price for these motherboards starts from approximately Rs 4,800 onwards.
