Asus mobos bundled with InterVideo’s suite

Asus Computer and InterVideo announced that Asus Gold version motherboards

will bundle InterVideo’s WinCinema software, a suite of four multimedia

programs.

"With this bundling users can do things on their PC like watch DVDs,

archive old home movies, put their entire library of CDs on a computer or even

make their own MPEG movies," says Steve Ro, founder and CEO of InterVideo.

"To offer all this functionality on top of the solid technology of Asus

motherboards is an unpre-cedented value for customers."

WinCinema is a suite of four award-winning programs–WinDVD, WinProducer,

WinRip and WinCoder.

WinDVD, used by over 28 million people, is the world’s most popular way to

watch DVDs on a PC with theater-quality video and 5.1 channel, surround sound

audio. InterVideo’s WinProducer is an all-in-one movie-making product that

allows users to import video, edit it, add music, titles, effects and

transitions and save it as an MPEG file. WinRip allows users to rip, manage and

listen to their favorite MP3s and other digital audio files, while WinCoder is a

tool for compressing large AVI and DV video files into high-quality MPEG-1 and

MPEG-2 files.
