Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 with Android Marshmallow launched

Asus has launched a new smartphone under its Zenfone 3 series. Called Zenfone Pegasus 3, the budget smartphone comes in two variants. In China, the 2GB RAM/16GB in-built storage variant is priced at CNY 1300 and 3GB RAM/32 GB in-built storage version costs CNY 1500.

Asus has launched a new smartphone under its Zenfone 3 series. Called Zenfone Pegasus 3, the budget smartphone comes in two variants. In China, the 2GB RAM/16GB in-built storage variant is priced at CNY 1300 and 3GB RAM/32 GB in-built storage version costs CNY 1500.

Running ZenUI 3.0 baked on top on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the dual-sim Pegasus 3 sports a metal build. It includes a 5.2-inch HD display with 2.5D curved screen.

Under the hood, Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 packs an unspecified octa-core processor. It also has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. Besides supporting usual connectivity features, the smartphone also has a 4100mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor at the back. The 4G LTE capable phone also supports VoLTE.

Last month, Asus unveiled new smartphones under its new Zenfone 3 series. The company announced Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Ultra. Out of the two, the Zenfone 3 Ultra is more powerful as it features a better display, improved camera and larger battery.

The company also launched its Zenfone 3 Deluxe smartphone. It flaunts a metal unibody design and will be available in titanium gray, glacier silver and sand gold colour options. This is the company's only smartphone till date to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC in the Zenfone 3 series. The company also launched an upgraded version of its Asus Max smartphone in India recently.
