The mobos bring advanced system performance, faster memory access and

increased productivity to those who don't want to settle for the limitation in

32-bit computing. Furthermore, P5, A8 and K8 motherboards deliver excellent

compatibility and flexibility by supporting both 64-bit and 32-bit operating

systems and

applications.

Additionally, Asus server solutions, based on the new 64-bit Xeon platform,

support 2MB L2 Cache, which significantly speeds up instruction execution and

data retrieval and updates.

The 64-bit drivers are included in the motherboard support CD and downloads

are available from the company website at www.asus.com. Currently, some of the

64-bit drivers are beta versions. The estimated prices are: K8 series

motherboard from Rs 4000 onwards, A8 series motherboards from Rs 5300 onwards

and P5 series motherboards start from Rs 3790 onwards.
