Aten intros touchscreen LCD KVM switch

Mumbai: Aten International has launched the new all-in-one KVM switch with a touchscreen LCD monitor-KL3116T. The KL3116T is an integrated LCD console and KVM switch that offers secure access to 16 servers with dual USB or PS/2 interface, and mounts in only 1U of rack space.

Its touch panel enables operation without the need to slide out the keyboard or use the mouse. No software or additional serial or USB ports are required to connect the touch panel. Comes with Dual Rail feature in which the switch is equipped with an independent slide-out keyboard and an LCD screen with an integrated touchpad. The dual interface allows the keyboard, mouse and monitor to be connected to the switch via PS/2 and USB ports.

The KVMP feature-a USB peripheral port that is positioned below the LCD panel allows administrators to connect additional peripherals or to conduct data backup and restore, application and OS patches, and CD-ROM diagnostics.

The switch comes with an additional USB mouse port to ensure the user comfort and support an external mouse.

Additional 31 serial KVM switches can be connected, which enables monitoring the operations of over 512 computers.
