Bangalore-Based IT Infrastructure Distributor Acquired by Savex for an undisclosed sum after walking away from Tech Data in 2020

Inflow Technologies based in Bangalore and a market player in the IT infrastructure distribution products and services marketplace in India and South Asia, has signed a deal with Savex Technologies, which is going to acquire Inflow as a result of this deal. Mumbai-based Savex Systems is Details and Interaction Know-how (ICT) distributor. It has signed an agreement to acquire Inflow Technologies for an undisclosed amount.

Savex will straight away obtain a major bulk in Inflow Systems and the remaining stake will be acquired above the upcoming two years. Adhering to the deal, revenues of Savex Technologies, which competes with organisations such as Redington India and Ingram Micro, will right away increase to about $3 billion from $2.5 billion.

Founded in 2005, Inflow Technologies has revenues of about $350 million (about ₹2,586 crore). The company has 15 world wide income offices, employs about 370 staff and caters to over 2,300 channel companions and 10,000 customers. It has immediate relationships with more than 50 world wide engineering vendors such as Cisco, HP, Palo Alto, McAfee, Forcepoint, Polycom and Zebra.

According to the offer, Savex Systems and Inflow Technologies will continue to function as two individual entities, even as the companies will incorporate their ideal product or service segments – consumer and enterprise – to emerge as a “powerhouse”.

The Bangalore based Inflow will be led by its team under the Director Byju Pillai and existing administration workforce, with board representations from Savex.

“The financial commitment in Influx supports our strategic system to be a total-support IT distributor and underscores our motivation to electronic transformation and new age technologies. It will also bolster our company channel portfolio and permit us to deliver better valuer to our clientele and channel partners. Inflow has a solid platform that will assistance us accelerate our diversification and South Asia enlargement plans, and the offer will augment our existence in the safety, storage and networking room,” Savex Technologies’ chairman Anil Jagasia said.

In 2019, Savex Technologies had acquired Uniserved Tech Remedies, a curated community-first aggregation platform for technologies-expert services supply.

Last year, Inflow was considering its acquisition by Tech Data, but later withdrew from it, citing "an unsolicited investment offer" from another company, which it had not named at that time.
