The third DQ Channels Excellence Awards held on the Star Cruise Libra saw the
best solution providers of the country walking away with the coveted trophies.
It also gave inspiration for other partners to strive harder so that they could
be the ones walking down the red carpet next year

Most Successful Solution Provider
The maharaja of the DQ Channels Excellence Award was Ranjan Chopra of Team Computers who accepted the gold award from Pradeep Gupta (left), CMD and Publisher, CyberMedia. Chopra's company is one of the largest players in the business intelligence and data analytics space with a turnover of Rs 135 crore.	Pradeep Gupta (left), CMD and Publisher, CyberMedia gives away the silver trophy to Devendra Taneja of PC Solutions. It deployed projects on technologies from leading OEMs like HP, IBM, Lenovo, Cisco, EMC, Microsoft, Veritas, Citrix, Legato, and VMware etc.

Fastest Growing Solution Provider
Tohiyoke Takamura, MD, Brother India hands over the gold trophy to Sanjiv Bhavnani (right) of Visesh Infotecnics. The company managed to scale its revenues to Rs 78 crore from Rs 40 crore, a jump of 96 percent.	Tohiyoke Takamura (left), MD, Brother India hands over the silver trophy to Vineet Garg of Progressive Infotech. In 2005-06, the latter's revenues jumped to Rs 74 crore from Rs 40 crore in the previous year.

Best Service
Ranjan Chopra (left) of Team Computers accepts the gold trophy from Shyam Malhotra, Editor-In-Chief, CyberMedia. Team invested Rs 3 crore in upgrading its post-sales service infrastructure in 2006 and has 1,100 people in its support division.	Shyam Malhotra (right), Editor-In-Chief, CyberMedia gives away the silver award to TG Ramesh of Precision Group. Precision has over 300 service and support personnel including a team of Microsoft, Novell, Sun Solaris, Cisco, Checkpoint, Lotus and Krone certified professionals to address client needs.

Best Deployment
Vivek Malhotra (left), Director-Transaction Business for South Asia, Lenovo gives away the gold award to MS Sidhi of Apara Enterprises. Apara migrated, integrated and expanded a 3Com-based network for POPs across Delhi and Mumbai for India's largest last mile telecom provider.	Vivek Malhotra, Director-Transaction Business for South Asia, Lenovo gives away the silver award to Ravi Verdes of Frontier Business Systems. Frontier deployed a Rs 25 crore project for Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd at Hyderabad, Trichy, Chennai and Ranipet.

Most Comprehensive SP
Sandeep Nair (left), MD, Emerson Networks India hands over the gold trophy to Nitin Shah of Allied Digital Services. Allied offers server migration and management, integrates networked storage technologies, addresses all domains of security, provides electronic messaging consulting and deployment, besides offering the complete family of messaging-related consulting services.	Sandeep Nair (left), MD, Emerson Networks India gives the silver trophy to Devendra Taneja of PC Solutions. The latter has partnership with Microsoft, Veritas, Citrix, EMC, Nortel, Nitix, HP, IBM, Novell, Sun, Packeteer, APC, EMC, Veritas, Nortel, etc.

Special Jury Award
	For the first time, a special award was given to Accel Frontline, which grew at 32 percent over the last year from Rs 163 crore turnover in 2004-05 to Rs 215 crore in 2005-06. NR Panicker (right) accepts the trophy from Pradeep Gupta, CMD and Publisher, CyberMedia.

Scintillating Performances
	Versatile, the dance troupe, got attendees on their seats with their salsa number. But it was their performance of Bidi Jalaile from Omkara, which got the whistles.
