When and how did you move to Cloud Business?

Our journey in the cloud services business started in 2017 as we saw more of our customers requiring help in migrating and managing their cloud infra. We also saw that the demand in the market grew for the need to move to the cloud and hence started focusing on building our cloud services.

What are the different Cloud services do you offer?

We offer the following cloud services within our cloud managed services portfolio.

1) Cloud Migration

2) Cloud Governance and Operations Management

4) Cloud DevOps Services.

What sort of changes have you done to move to the cloud within the organization in terms of Team, skill set, infrastructure, and others?

We had a DevOps team that was working as part of our application development & maintenance services. So, we spun that team out as a separate one and formed the Cloud services team, upskilled and got certified engineers within the team. We got dedicated cloud accounts in both AWS and Azure for all our internal consumption and moved our other infra needs within the company to be handled with the cloud services team itself.

How does Crayon Software help you to grow your business and customers?

Crayon’s support to us has been instrumental in scaling up our cloud business. They have helped us in fine-tuning the Go-To-Market strategy, in Lead Generation and Pre-sales. Their support is very valuable to us in our cloud journey & growth.

How your old and new customers adopting the new technology and moving to the cloud?

We have adoption at 3 levels within our customer base.

a) They are testing the waters whether this will work with their existing setup and what are the changes required.

b) They are aware they need cloud solutions. So they have migrated a few of the workloads to cloud and have setup hybrid setup.

c) Completely adopted cloud solutions and embraced completely for their infra needs.

How many customers you have, who are taking Cloud solutions and what are their different verticals?

We have about 35+ customers are using our cloud solutions and services. They belong to Retail, Manufacturing, E-Commerce, Information Technology and Healthcare.

What are the different challenges did you face in this journey?

Making the customer understand the benefits of cloud usage. Grooming talent to cater to the needs of the requirement.

What is your overall growth being a cloud partner?

We had a good 35% growth as a cloud partner.

What are your future goals?

Our future goal is to have 65% growth YOY in the cloud managed services business. We are scaling up our team both in sales and services to cater to the growth plan that we have in plan.
