When and how did you move to Cloud Business?

Blazeclan was debuted as a product company, rolling out our BriSkGap.com in the e-learning marketplace. However, we evolved and shifted away to helping other companies build their products for scaling on the web through cloud computing. Our primary focus was to make the cloud journey seamless for our enterprise IT customers.

We have been helping our existing customers embrace cloud transformation in various ways, which range from migrating their applications to the cloud to developing new applications such as conversational systems on the cloud for better traction and customer experience. We have helped our one of our financial services customers to boost their front line sales through a serverless stack of services on the AWS cloud. We have also worked with education and learning institutes and organizations, helping them in their digital transformation journey by creating a pragmatic transformation design, product strategy, and IT systems roadmap.

What sort of changes have you done to move to the cloud within the organization in terms of Team, skill set, infrastructure, and others?

We started out with Cloud, and we did not have any legacy to carry forward. So from day 1 our team’s mindset has always been cloud-first and cloud-only. Our skillsets are aligned to our mindset and we have been consistently building our team who are trained and have hand-on experience on the cloud.

What are the different challenges did you face in this journey?

Since Blazeclan’s co-founding, we have faced several challenges. Apart from talent acquisition, funding, and resources that every organization faces during its growth, a bigger challenge was to find ways to strategize for future objectives beforehand. To keep a track of trends and changing dynamics of the industry and constantly stay a few steps ahead. Another challenge has been to maintain a culture of agility and innovation even at nurturing defined processes with top-notch governance. We have been constantly breaking through these challenges with the right communication with our teams and ensure it is inculcated in the way we work and learn as one clan. We cling to a strong growth mindset and keep sustaining it. I have always said that it is okay to fail, but as long as you learn from your failure and put it to practice to be a step closer to winning every time. Our values of work have always kept us motivated and led us to many milestones that we have achieved until now. Still counting.

Our growth has been phenomenal in the last 3 to 4 years, we have been growing consistently across different geographies YoY, and we are doubling our revenues every 2 years.

When we started out, the cloud adaption in our primary market, India was very nascent. The only users of public cloud infrastructure were start-ups and SMEs. So while we were growing, our growth was not sustainable, just relying on start-ups. Since 2015, we have focused on growing our enterprise business and that has helped us scale the business much faster and much larger.

We have also grown from as a team, we are now 400 plus strong across different geographies. We have invested heavily in our training and certification to be one of the biggest partners for the leading cloud providers in the regions that we operate.

What are your future goals?

Our primary goal for the future is to gain a greater footprint in the global cloud computing landscape. We perceive to venture into evolving digital and cloud requirements of our existing and new customers and become a go-to cloud provider for enterprises. We have put a strong focus on investing in artificial intelligence and machine learning practices to mitigate costs associated with data processing and storage. To keep up with the dynamic nature of this industry is vital and hence we prioritize investments in the latest technologies while continuously driving innovation for our customers.
