BenQ launches first USB 2.0 scanner with transparency support

Benq India has launched an USB 2.0 interface scanners with built-in support for transparency unit. The new model Benq S2W 7400 UT supports films,
transparencies and negatives of 210 mm x 36 mm dimension and has an optical
resolution of 2400 dpi x 4800 dpi. According to the company, the scanner is first of its kind with unique
features. The one-click scanner offers a plug-n-play USB 2.0 interface and uses CCD technology.

According to Tashi, the scanner's five button operation, for scan to Web, PDA,
MiraScan, OCR, and copy, BenQ S2W 7400 UT has made the concept of image  scanning fast, easy and trouble-free, unlike traditional scanning. 

At 2400 dpi, the BenQ S2W 7400 UT offers Advanced Color Enhancement (ACE) technology that makes possible 48-bit color scanning for super-realistic
scans.

The product will be available through Benq's regional distributors, Roop Technologies for West and Andhra
Pradesh, ITeastern for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, Micromaxfor North, and Byte Peripherals for Madhya
Pradesh.
