Benq India has launched a thin and lightweight plasma display monitor –Benq
46W1–with high illumination and digital resolution. To sell this product Benq
has appointed Godrej & Boyce as the national distributor.
Godrej would also provide the after-sales support and service through its
network of service centers spread across 15 cities in the country. Godrej has
been marketing Benq´s projectors in the digital display segment.
In
a step towards refining its current distribution strategy, Benq has adopted the
regional model of distribution and is also in the process of identifying key
distributors who could specialize in distributing individual product lines.
The company has also drawn up an elaborate program for brand promotions
spanning events that includes conventional advertising coupled with regular
channel promotion schemes, systems integrator meets, market development
activities and promotional offers.
