BenQ has tied up with Onida Services for its range of mobile phones and display products, creating a 178-service center network across 168 cities. With BenQ's existing tie-ups with ASPs such as ACCEL ICIM, BenQ's customers now have access to a total of 243 service centers across the country.
The tie-up provides BenQ with a total field force of 1215 trained Onida engineers. This includes resident engineers in 202 C-and D-class cities to attend to service requirements for display products.
Says Ramyang Pandya, National Services Manager, BenQ India, "Our service teams are capable of providing customers with an assured response time of four hours. This sort of committed service is available even in remote locations of Mizoram and Nagaland. As an ongoing effort, we will continue to consolidate our service offerings across all cities and encompassing all product categories."
Onida Services is ISO certified and has a proven industry track record of servicing CRT monitors, LCD monitors, plasmas and LCD TVs of leading IT brands over a decade. It serviced more than 1.6 million customers across various product segments in 2002-03. Its core strengths besides having a strong logistical base and widely deployed SAP CRM infrastructure also include a highly skilled workforce which is periodically trained and updated on latest technologies.
