Implementation



SSIS had implemented MAIA's 1Key Cube solution to help Pidilite in report
generation and information dissemination. For larger database sizes, report

level customizations are available apart from the innovative 'Processing

in-memory' architecture, which enhances performance. The software named '1KEY

Business Intelligence Reporting and Analytics Software' helped the company in

one time query built-up activity, and generating a single report, which can show

data from multiple sources like SQL, Oracle, DB2, Excel etc.

The Need



The main challenge has been the presentation of data. Companies these days

have to submit balance sheets on a half-yearly basis. For this, information has

to be accurate and available on time. Again it is not necessary that all the

companies use Excel for collating data. There can be a usage of different

applications at different locations. For example- the head office might use

Excel for collating data, where as branch office might use Tally. The solution,

which will be implemented, has to be aligned to multiple applications. Right

data has to be used at the right place and presented effectively.

The Solution



1Key Cube from MAIA works with multiple databases without a need for a

native database. Its query building is a one-time activity, which requires IT

intervention. Business users can run, format, and make templates of their own
