The IT expo of Bihar IT Association (BITA), which was scheduled for February
has now been postponed to mid-April. The exact dates have not yet been decided.
Sharing the reason behind the delay, Naveen Gupta, Secretary, BITA said that the
partners were not too keen on holding the expo in February since it is the
budget month. Apart from that, February is also a lean period for partners. “In
February, the market is down. Partners want the expo in April, so it has been
rescheduled. We have already spoken to the Kolkata Event Management Group for
the arrangement and things are moving as planned,” said Gupta.
Meanwhile, the association had divided its administration into five zones as
under Bhagalpur (East), Sasaram (West), MuzzaÂffarpur (North), Gaya (South) and
Patna (Central). They have also elected zonal heads and entrusted them with the
responsibility of handling IT-related issues in their respective regions.
