Bristlecone to expand India operations

Bristlecone India, part of the $2.6 billion Mahindra group, has announced
its plans to augment its India operations. The company, which has development
centers at Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore in India, would double its global
headcount to 1400 from 700 by this year-end and immediately ramp up its Pune
center by adding over 200 more people. Speaking on the company's growth plans,
V Mani, VP, International Delivery said, “Bristlecone has proven to be a major
player in the Indian SAP implementation and business process consulting market.
We have signed a substantial number of new contracts and expect our business to
grow at 40% year-on-year.”

Bristlecone
has also expanded two-fold in its talent and expects to reach 1400 globally by
the end of 2006. Since the merger of Bristlecone with Mahindra Consulting in
2004, Bristlecone's revenue has expanded two-fold with the customers of both
Mahindra Consulting and Bristlecone Inc, including SAP AG itself, which alone
grew over 400% over last year. Presently, Bristlecone employs over 800 people
worldwide of which, over 700 are based out of India.
