Brocade expands SAN Health family of products

Brocade Communications Systems announced the expansion of the Brocade SAN
Health family to include the new and advanced SAN Health Professional framework
and modules, as well as the new interactive SAN Health Expert consultation
service. The expanded SAN Health family provides SAN administrators with highly
effective tools and services for fast, easy, and comprehensive data analysis and
reporting to help optimize their Brocade and McDATA SAN environments.

Over 10,000 SAN customers have already used SAN Health, a free SAN audit
utility that was launched in 2004 to capture diagnostic data and perform
analysis for reporting. Brocade is building on this offering with the
introduction of SAN Health Professional, a free framework that extends data
analysis capabilities and supports enhanced functionality. SAN administrators
benefit from a more holistic view of the entire SAN, from the switches all the
way to the attached devices. This enables administrators to simplify
time-consuming SAN maintenance and inventory operations, ultimately boosting
their productivity levels and preventing human error.

Brocade SAN Health-a free utility that captures raw switch diagnostic data,
checks it for problems, analyzes it against best-practice criteria, and then
produces a visio-based topology diagram as well as an Excel-based report with
detailed information on the SAN fabrics, switches, and connected devices. It is

Brocade SAN Health Professional-a free framework that extends data
analysis capabilities and supports optional advanced functionality modules for
granular searching, filtering, and analysis. SAN Health Professional includes
capabilities for searching, comparisons, custom report generation, and change

Brocade SAN Health Professional Change Analysis-an optional
fee-based module that allows users to compare two SAN Health reports run at
different times with all the detailed changes highlighted in an
easy-to-understand format. The module is available for purchase at www.shopbrocade.com
in the form of an annual subscription.

Brocade SAN Health Expert-a subscription-based professional service
offering that provides detailed SAN analysis and quarterly consultations with a
