Brother boasts of second largest printer range

Brother International is introducing a range of seven inkjet MFDs to cater

distinctively to the home and business segments. The company is offering four

machines for the home segment, positioned on lifestyle; while three machines

targeted at the business segments are positioned on workstyle. It now has the

second largest printer range after HP.

Under the lifestyle series, Brother has launched DCP 110C (4-in-1); MFC 210C;

MFC 410 CN and MFC 620CN (6-in-1) designer series of MFDs that are flat bed and

equipped with photocapture center (slot to print directly from the digicam). The

designer series- MFC-210C, MFC-410CN and MFC-620CN give users color printing,

color faxing, color copying, color scanning and PC faxing, while DCP 110C is a

3-in-1 with scanner, copier, printer functions.

Brother

printers also offer 1,200x6,000dpi photo quality print for MFCs. Brother offers

three machines under the Workstyle series-Brother 3240, 5440CN, and 5840CN.

These all-in-one (AIO) machines come with full color printing, faxing, copying,

scanning, PC faxing and network compatibility. MFC 5840CN has the additional

facility of a PhotoCapture Center. These AIOs utilize a four cartridge printing

system where the color ink cartridge can be replaced individually.

Brother has appointed Accel ICIM as the national service provider, who has a

direct presence in about 34 locations and reach across 100 locations. To further

give a fillip to the Service First program, Brother will work with Accel to

launch service weeks across the country. Customers in each city can bring in

their Brother machines for a free service at the local Accel centers.
