CA cruises partners through its strategies and roadmaps

Computer Associates (CA) India recently hosted a two day Partner Conference
on board 'The Star Cruise' which aimed to provide insight into its strategy
and help give a direction to the partner community. The event was well attended
by 100 partners.

The two-day event included conferences, sessions on industry trends and
roadmaps for the various business units of CA (from security, storage,
enterprise systems management and business service optimization). Partner
testimonials of CA's solutions 'At Work' were also part of the event to
give the Indian channel an insight to the global partner community. The event
ended with an awards ceremony filled with fun and games.

The event also included addresses and keynote speeches from CA visiting
executives Brenton Smith, Area Manager, CA, Asia South; Chris Wilson, Regional
Manager, Channels, CA, APJ and Spencer B Schweibold, VP, Business Development,
CA Inc.

Commenting on the event, Vivek Sharma, Country Business Manager, Wipro
Infotech said, “The idea of the cruise was definitely a new one and an
excellent opportunity to meet other partners and network.” Sharing similar
views, Manish Manocha, IT-Head, F1 Infotech said, "This has given us a
