CA launches Cleverpath Portal 4 for enterprises

Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) has announced the availability
of CleverPath Portal 4.0, an advanced solution for providing aggregated,
web-based access to diverse enterprise content and applications.

CleverPath Portal 4.0 consolidates all forms of data into personalized,
intuitive environments that can be accessed from desktop browsers, WAP phones
and wireless PDAs. All information, regardless of source or native format, can
be integrated and presented to end -users. CleverPath Portal 4.0 can scale to
support millions of concurrent sessions across enterprise and shared networks.

"With CleverPath Portal, we’ve created a personalized eLearning portal
from which tens of thousands of educators, students and parents can access a
wide-range of educational tools," says Kim Joyce, executive director at
Virtual Education Space (VES), an online consortium serving public education in
Massachusetts.

CleverPath Portal 4.0 is fully compliant with web services standards,
including SOAP, UDDI, and XML, and offers an extensive array of other new
features.
