Canon launches Laser ImageCLASS D680

Canon has recently introduced the laser ImageCLASS D680 multifunctional

peripheral (MFP). The ImageClass D680 combines laser digital copying, laser

printing and faxing capabilities into a single unit.

The

laser imageCLASS D680 is being targeted at the professional users and businesses

that need a robust copier with print and fax capabilities. The laser D680 MFP

has the capability to print/copy at a speed of 12 ppm (print per minute) with a

resolution of up to 2400x600 dpi. The D680 employs Canon’s advanced printing

technology (CAPT), to ensure quality and speed by using the PC’s memory.

The ImageCLASS D680 also uses Canon’s rapid fusing system, which provides

instant warm-up.

The D680 MFP incorporates high-speed fax with a maximum modem speed of 14.4

Kbps that transmits a single page in six seconds. In addition the D680 also

offers 30 sheet automatic document feeder (ADF).

The entire D680 MFP can be upgraded as a network printer with an optional

network interface card. The D680 laser MFP is priced at Rs 74,990.
