Canon peps up sales with new offer for tier-three partners

Canon India has introduced a new promotional campaign for third channel tier -- the Empowered Partners. The offer, introduced to pep up the sales of its BubbleJet printers, laser printers, scanners and all-in-one devices, will run from 1st September to 31st October, 2003.

Under this point accumulation scheme, partners can win money for purchases of these products from Canon Premium Partners. They will get Rs 750 on gathering 15 points, Rs 1,500 on 25 points, Rs 3,500 on 50 points, Rs 6,000 on 75 points and Rs 9,000 on 100 points.

Rajeev Singh, Senior Manager ­ Marketing, Consumer Information and Imaging Division, Canon India, remarks, "This is the third such promotional campaign that we have run this year for imaging products. The result for the first two schemes has been exceptional."

Additionally, Canon will take 75 Premium partners to South East Asia and Europe in November, as part of tis channel reward program. These 75 partners are the winners of the Premium Partner scheme, which was for promoting its BubbleJet printers, laser printers, scanners and all-in-one devices.
