Canon presents the 'Great Diamond Loot'

New Delhi: Canon India has announced 'Great Diamond Loot' offer in alliance with Surat Diamond Jewelery. It will be valid till Dec 31, 2009 on all Canon inkjet all-in-ones and inkjet single function printers, and will run nationally.

Under the scheme, customers who buy the above mentioned Canon printers will get Rs 5,000 off on any diamond jewelery purchased from Surat Diamond Jewelery. Canon's focus this year is on the tier-2 and 3 markets.

Commenting on the special offer, VP Sajeevan, Asst Director-Consumer System Products Division, Canon India said, “Canon's CSP business is growing at a healthy rate and we are now poised as a strong # 2 in the inkjet market. These markets continue to be the most crucial markets for Canon India. Surat Diamonds are authentic and famous for its quality, which is why we partnered with them to give away quality diamonds at cheaper rates as token of our gratitude."

He further added, “We see a considerable growth in home and commercial printing segment, and we aim at making this segment grow further this year. This promotional offer is designed to attract our customers and engage them for a sustained relationship. Due to recession, customers have become very careful about their spending. Such an offer would give them reason enough to go ahead and buy the products as it offers diamonds in return.”
