Canon’s new S600 inkjet printer

Canon has launched a new inkjet printer, S600. The S600 prints at 10 ppm in
color and 15 ppm in monochrome.

It comes in 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution and can print an A4 color photo image
in 90 seconds. It also comes with Canon Think Tank technology to economize
printing cost by equipping it with separate tanks for each color.

The printer comes armed with USB connectivity and is priced at Rs 17,995. The
S600 uses a four-motor drive structure. It uses an independent motor for
individual functions of line feeding, carriage, auto sheet feeding and recovery
system. The printer also incorporates Canon’s patented ‘Micro-fine droplet
technology’ for grainless printing even on normal paper.
