Cartridge World, the Australia-based company dealing in printer cartridge
refilling services recently launched its fifth outlet in Mumbai. The store
situated in Lower Parel, will be the fifth of its kind to hit the shores of
Mumbai after Andheri, East and West, Vashi, and Malad (West).
Mike Fuller, MD-Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Cartridge World said,
"We are going to sign up with 50 franchisees by March 2008. We plan to open
250 stores by 2010." Also present at the occasion was Cryus Guzder, CMD,
AFL and Peter Forby, Trade Commissioner and Consul General, Australia. AFL is
the master franchisee of Cartridge World in the Indian sub-continent.
Naveen Rakhecha, CEO-South Asia, Cartridge World said, "We would be
encouraging people to do business in India. It would also encourage those
already operating in the country to get more organized in the printer cartridge
refilling services industry. Usually, when users go in for refilling cartridges
to a neighborhood computer accessories shop, the print quality and yield is
affected. But by getting empty cartridge to Cartridge World, they can-not only
save 50 percent on the cost but also help save the environment."
