Microsoft has launched the 'Catch-a-Match' scheme as a part of the 'Beach Tango' promotion for its reseller community. The point-based scheme will run between October 1 and October 15, 2003. Aimed at garnering channel support for the recently launched 2004 range of Microsoft hardware products, this countrywide offer enables resellers to earn points on every Microsoft hardware product sold.
Points earned by the partners can be redeemed for a host of prizes including a Fiat Palio autographed by Sachin Tendulkar, which will be given away as the grand prize. In addition to these prizes, resellers can win free tickets for the Triangular series.
The top 55 resellers from eight regions across the country, who earn 2,500 points or more, will win two free tickets to the forthcoming triangular series. These points will also be valid for the 'Beach Tango' promotion. Resellers can earn points till December 31, 2003 and redeem them for foreign holidays in exotic destinations across the world.
During the promotion period Microsoft resellers from eight regions across the country including North (Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana), West 1 (Mumbai), West 2 (all other cities in Maharashtra other than Mumbai, Goa, Daman & Diu and Gujarat), South (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala) and East (West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar and the seven North Eastern states) will be eligible for the prizes.
The 2004 range of hardware products include the Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer, IntelliMouse Explorer, Wireless Optical Mouse, Wireless Optical Desktop Elite, Wireless Optical Desktop Pro, Wireless Optical Desktop and Basic Wireless Optical Desktop.
