Channel players converge at Globus Power of Fusion meet

With an aim to showcase emerging trends in IT and audio video DQ Channels

came forward to organize an event 'Power of Fusion' in association with

Globus Infocom, a solution provider in the field of audio visual solutions and

services in India and Progressive Channels Association of Information Technology

(PCAIT).

Owing to the vibrancy and growing interest in the AV segment of the market,

the event saw more than 150 channel players from the NCR region converge to get

a feel of the AV market. With its focus on the AV segment, Globus is targeting

verticals like armed forces, government institutions, autonomous bodies,

education/ learning centers, public sector, private sector, service sector, home

and other professionals.

Globus has branch offices at 11 locations within India and in additionally,

the company has 40 channel partners working with it in almost all major metros

of the country. "We have a big partner base and are looking forward to

increasing this further. However, we do not believe in the number game, so we

are looking for some serious players, who can add value to our set of products

Electric products. Keeping in mind the high demand in the projector segment,

Mitsubishi is in the process of launching two new models of projectors,

specially designed for Indian market conditions. "Mitsubishi is going to

launch two new models of projectors specially designed for the Indian market.

These new models are specially designed for Indian user conditions and would be

aimed at all market segments," Ashish informed.

Focusing its efforts in the AV segment, Globus Infocom formulates new

markets a range of professional presentation, display and front projection home

entertainment systems.

Answering a query about distributors forming cartel — RK Malhotra,

President, PCAIT, said that the channel association would look into the matter

and try to inculcate healthy business-friendly atmosphere in the region.

"We want to be for the channels — what Nasscom is for the IT industry. So

we will always help solution providers and the overall channels to create a

healthy business-friendly atmosphere and from time to time take up issues that

are of concern for us," Malhotra added.
