Come October and Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) is all set to
conduct its annual technology summit in Hyderabad.
The event which will be held between October 8 and October 11, 2002 will be
focusing on technological advancements in the areas of info-tainment,
electronics, engineering and machine tools, food processing and infrastructure.
"In today’s world, technology has become a necessary tool in any
industry to achieve competitiveness. Several business development strategies
have been used by industries and countries world-over in the past few decades.
At the summit we would like to focus on the technological development
areas," says Vineet K Goyal, Counselor - Technology, AP technology
development and promotion center, an autonomous society run by Andhra Pradesh
Government and CII.
The event is likely to attract more than 400 participants from around the
globe as well as within India. "More than 20 companies have confirmed their
participation for the event from Thailand and similarly some infrastructure
companies are coming from Singapore to participate in the event," informs
Vineet.
