Cisco has recently announced that it
would be expanding the industry's portfolio of Small Business
technology with new solutions to help small businesses connect to the
world, secure their network and communicate more effectively. The
latest addition is a family of energy-efficient, unmanaged switches
which are part of the Cisco Small Business Series of networking
solutions. Cisco is also launching a Web-based Small Business
University, where partners can find all the tools and training
materials necessary to develop a successful small business practice
and offers partners complimentary design support via our Small
Business Support Communities to help them create and deploy solutions
to solve customers' unique business problems.
“Cisco is focused on building
reliable and affordable technologies that small businesses can easily
use to connect their business to the world, help secure their
business, and communicate more effectively. By categorizing the Cisco
Small Business portfolio into connect, secure and communicate, we're
helping small businesses select the right technologies to meet their
core business needs and even accelerate as the economy recovers,”
said Rick Moran, VP-Small Business Solutions Marketing, Cisco
"Listening and responding to our
partners' feedback is critical in helping us and developing the
technologies, support, services and profitability programs they need
to be successful. Our most recent Small Business partner Pulse survey
indicates that our investments are helping them build successful
small business practices and increasing their profitability with
Cisco," said Andrew Sage, VP- Worldwide Small Business Sales,
Cisco
“Over the past year, Cisco has
demonstrated that it is 100-percent committed to the small business
market. Most enterprise focused companies have produced mini-versions
of products for small businesses, but not in this case. Cisco has
built solutions specifically for the small business market, which has
helped partners like me solve my customers' business issues. Cisco
has also created services and incentives to help me be successful and
more profitable in the small business market,” said Gia McNutt,
President and CEO, Special Order Systems
