Citix appointed northern RD for Datamini Computers

GES Technologies has appointed Citix India as its regional distributor (RD) for its range of Datamini Computers for north India. Singapore-based GES Technologies has its Indian headquarters in
Mumbai.

"Earlier Datamini was focusing more on western and southern India and now, wants to increase its channel base and create its brand awareness in the north. Therefore, we have been appointed to do the job for the whole of north India," informs Arun Prabhu from Citix, who is looking after this division.

When the market is already flooded with so many low-priced branded PCs, creating a marketshare for a lesser-known company would definitely prove to be difficult. But Arun believes that they can succeed in this venture. "We are providing customers a branded PC at the price of an assembled one. The USP of Datamini Computer is its quality and price."

Citix has already appointed four resellers in Delhi and two in Jammu & Kashmir and is in the process of appointing more in the other states. "We are confident that within three months, we will be able to create a strong channel base in north India," Arun adds. The company plans to sell at least 700-800 PCs per month within a quarter.

Datamini Computer Systems are developed and manufactured by GES Singapore Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of GES International, a manufacturing and IT-related distribution company.
