Citrix upgrades performing partners

Citrix acieving 170 percent of its targets. And in order to reward its

partners Citrix is upgrading ten of its silver partners to gold status. While

the upgraded status will bring for partners added benefits, it will also bring

in greater responsibilities. "We need to recognize the efforts of our

partners, as some of them went out of their way to achieve the targets,"

said Kishore Badami, Director, Marketing, Citrix.

Representatives from Citrix Solutions Network were also flown to Sydney for

the Citrix Solutions Summit with a short holiday in Kuala Lumpur.

Citrix has launched a new training certification called the Citrix Certified

Enterprise Administrator (CCEA). New gold partners will be expected to have at

least one CCEA on their rolls. Citrix will subsidize the cost of certification

for new partners, who have signed up for much higher targets for the coming

year.

The channel is quite upbeat, as customer seminars have now started to lead to

conversions. Says Badami, "The channel confidence is very high." With

the leads maturing now, Citrix expects to sustain the growth in the present

quarter as well.
