The Computer and Media Dealers Association (CMDA), Pune has decided to part
ways with the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA).
CMDA will now hold its annual IT exhibition on its own instead of associating
with MCCIA's yearly 'Pune Expo'. "As part of the Pune Expo, the
exhibition was losing its focus. We were not getting the desired response.
Serious buyers were missing and we found it difficult to interact because of the
crowds," said CMDA President, Suresh Joshi.
