CMDA Mumbai with the initiative of Samir Parekh, (past President, CMDA, Mumbai, past President TAIT and FAIITA Vice President (Business Opportunities) had organised meeting for its members on Monday 27th February 2023 evening at Mumbai. During its regular Interactive meeting, the session on MSME registration and its benefits for the business was held. The session was addressed by Meet Chitalia, partner, Soles Legal, Mumbai. Chitalia briefed the members on Classification of Enterprises, Udyam Registration, Benefits of Registration, Schemes for MSME, MSME Samadhaan – Delayed Payment Monitoring System and various other aspects of it. The session was interactive with the active participation of the members. The members has appreciated the session.
Meet Chitalia was facilitated by Mihir Shah, President, CMDA Mumbai and Rajkumar Sheth, Director, CMDA Mumbai. The event was held at Hotel Landmark, Fort, Mumbai.
Samir Parekh the organiser is also the owner of Brainpoint Computers.
CMDA Mumbai comprises of computer dealers from Mumbai and surrounding areas. The organisation seeks to resolve the challenges faced by the members, organises training and interaction programmes for them and also intercedes with the government on their behalf on issues related to computer business. In the past it had organised many events related to the issues faced by the CMDA Mumbai members. The association is registered in Mumbai and has been active for several decades in the field of computer related business. Samir Parekh is one of the listed directors of the associations.
In the existing scenario, with the increasing documentation of small businesses required by the government, it is becoming more and more necessary for the computer dealers to register themselves as MSMEs. Registering on the government MSME portal also avails the members of many government schemes, rebates and other concessions offered by the government to the MSMEs. Further, it also makes export activities convenient for the dealers who are registered as MSMEs.
