CMDA (Computer Media Dealers Association), New Delhi, met on Saturday, 14th of May 2022 at Magnolia, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, to re-elect its new representative body. In order to maintain fairness and objectivity in the election, they had assigned Saket Kapur, General Secretary, PCAIT and MD, Green Vision, the role of monitoring the elections. Sewak Nautiyal, MD, Spark Technologies and VP, PCAIT had come to announce the results. The new office bearers will stay in office for 3 years.
During the pre-announcement, in an informal conversation, Puneet Singhal, MD, Pioneer Enterprise and President, CMDA, said, "My colleagues and I have focused on resolving the GST issues of our organisation and also worked with the members on the GeM registration." Further, he said, "I have been working to resolve the issues related to the printing and imaging segment, in which the resellers, dealers and manufacturers are facing many problems. During Corona and lockdown the business of re-distribution of imaging products has decreased a lot."
Manoj Khanna, Secretary, CMDA said, "Many new faces have been added for the betterment of the trade and the channel. Collectively, our past experience and this new vision and energy will take this association to new heights."
Puneet Singhal was elected as President. Harman Grover and Vaibhav Kalra were elected as Vice President. Manoj Khanna was elected as Secretary. Prabodh Rajpal was elected as Treasurer.
The Executive Council members who were elected were as follows -
Arun Goyal, Banwari Lal, Rajesh Mattoo, Aditya Mishra, Sushil Arora, Pradeep Mehendru, Om Prakash Nagpal
The new team was elected unopposed. Mahinder Agarwal, President, ADCTA and Swaran Singh, Secretary, ADCTA were also present at the occasion.
