Come this May 9, Pune-based Computer Media and Dealer Association (CMDA) will
be hosting a series of events. Apart from the formal inauguration of CMDA Times,
the association would be holding the second phase of its distributor meeting. It
also plans to open a library for its members on the occasion.
Commenting on the library initiative, Sunil Gugale, President, CMDA and CEO,
United Peripherals said, “This library would help our 330 members to avail the
benefit of various expensive books. It will be connected to the library
management software. We have already purchased books worth Rs 75,000 and would
be acquiring more books in the future.” There would be books on various
subjects including IT, software, marketing, sales, management, good
inspirational autobiographies and many others.
CMDA Times will showcase technical write-ups, new product information and
highlight the achievements of CMDA members. Briefing about the magazine content,
Gugale said, “The magazine would update our members and partners across Pune
about the trends, technologies, product launches, activities and events that
CMDA holds regularly. It would also help us highlight the achievements of our
members.”
The distributor meeting would help CMDA members and local, regional and
national distributors understand each other further to streamline local
activities, billing, payments, credit note, account recon, etc. “These are the
issues, which can be sorted out locally. Even distributors face problems and
this platform can give each side to discuss their problems and solve issue
mutually,” said Gugale.
