Sachin Shinde of Pune-based Microware Infotech has been named
the top performer of the year under Compaq’s ongoing channel program ‘Millennium
Superstar’ and has won a Santro.
The Millennium Superstar Program went online in August 2000
with the launch of its Web site, www.superstarfamily.com.
Compaq introduced the ‘Diamond Rush’ in the first quarter
of 2002. This was a point-based incentive program for the partner’s sales
force. On achieving 3,000 points the partner could win a 0.2-carat diamond.
The results are expected to be out soon.In the last quarter
of 2001, the company ran the Gold Rush program for partners. In this program,
top qualifying performers won gold worth Rs 46,000 each. Winners included
Informatics Technologies of Baroda, System Tech of Bangalore, Satva Open Systems
of Chennai, Microcare Computers of Hyderabad, SK International of Mumbai,
Micro-ware Infotech of Pune, Embee Software of Kolkata and Albion Informatics of
New Delhi.
To ensure that the representation was uniform, four partner
organizations–one each from Cochin, Bhubaneshwar, Kanpur and Satara–were
also rewarded.
