Compex launches 10/100 mbps Fast Ethernet switch

Compex has launched SAS2224, a 24-port 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet switch. The
switch is also capable of supporting virtual LAN. It has PowerButtons on its
front panel thus eliminating the use of PC to configure features like forced
mode transmission, priority port settings, and virtual LAN. SAS2224 also allows
the installation of an optional 100Base-FX fiber optic module that offers remote
server access in the range of two kilometers. It also supports full or half
duplex transmission with flow control. This switch has N-Way Auto-Negotiation
capability that allows ports to be automatically configured for the highest
possible operative mode between the network nodes. SAS2224 is priced at Rs
9,950.
